The published PC specs are the beta’s, with a 70 GB SSD figure attached to launch language on Activision support. Minimum still includes a GTX 970 or 1060 / RX 470 / Arc A580 with 3 GB VRAM. Recommended is RTX 3060 Ti / RX 6700 XT / Arc B580, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11. SSD is mandatory. HDD is not a conversation.
TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are required for online. That belongs next to the GPU list, not in a footnote. Input settings that sit on top of this hardware are on settings. Platform context is platforms.
Minimum and recommended
These numbers are desktop-oriented. Laptops with “similar” GPUs may not be supported if they are a different SKU. Trial/Insider Windows builds may fail. DirectX 12, broadband, and a DX-compatible sound path are assumed.

TPM, Secure Boot, drivers, streaming
RICOCHET will not let you into Multiplayer or DMZ without TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot. Enable them in UEFI. Campaign may still launch. Permanently banned Activision IDs from MW2019 forward can be blocked from MW4 entirely; Battle.net bans from MWII forward can block a Blizzard store purchase.
Beta drivers: NVIDIA 610.47, AMD Adrenalin 26.7.1, Intel 32.0.101.8861. Pre-load shaders. Texture streaming means a live connection even in private matches. Ray tracing (reflections, AO, shadows) is a PC extra across modes — budget it on recommended hardware, not on the 3 GB card. Can I play MW4 on a GTX 1060?+
It is the official minimum. Expect 1080p with streaming on and settings in the basement. SSD is still required.
Why does the game demand Secure Boot?+
RICOCHET anti-cheat. It is a hard requirement for online modes.

Same game. Pick the friends list you already use. Xbox on PC is the Play Anywhere path.
